Summer College Application and Essay Workshop

For Staples Students: Summer Common App Essay, Application, and Supplemental Essay Workshop:

• Monday, August 19 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Westport Library
• Wednesday, August 21 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Westport Library
• Thursday, August 22 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (Virtual)

On the first two days, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., students will participate in an interactive essay workshop led by one of The College Essay Guy’s expert facilitators. Following a short break, school counselors will assist students with their college applications, including the Common App and other application platforms. Students who are not able to attend in person have the option to participate virtually in the essay portion of the workshop

Staples Boys Basketball Informational Session

Staples Boys Basketball invites everyone to attend an informational meeting about "Westport Basketball" on Sunday, August 25, at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Ginny Parker Bleachers at Staples High School. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the Staples Boys and Girls Programs and the new partnership with PAL Basketball and the Westport Y.
