🏐Staples Volleyball Tryouts 2024🏐

Tryouts will begin on Tuesday, 8/20, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for all players. Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders will continue until 3:30 PM after a lunch break. Practice for all teams will resume on Wednesday, 8/21, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Starting Thursday, 8/22, tryouts and practices will take place each afternoon from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. There will be no practice over the weekend. Final team selections (cuts) will be made by the end of practice on Friday.

🎨 Join Us This Tuesday for a Special Art Reception! 🎨

You’re invited to meet local artist Rachel Waldman at a reception for her exhibit on Tuesday evening, August 20th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Westport Book Shop, 23 Jesup Road.

​

Rachel, a Westport native and self-taught artist, will be showcasing her anime-inspired freehand drawings, watercolors, and digital art. Her passion for Japanese anime, sparked by Kiki’s Delivery Service, has influenced her work for over a decade.

​

Rachel's artwork will be on display and available for purchase through August 31, 2024, during regular shop hours.
